More About Fellowship Groups

House To House
and
Together As A Congregation…

.
Christians have historically met together in small, unified groups that were part of the whole

…They continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 2:42,46,47
.

Today, the large, corporate model of “church” has been here for so long that most think it’s  normal; But this is just what Jesus, Martin Luther, John Wesley (founder of the Methodist church) and so many others warned against. Click here for more about “small group” history.

The TRUE church is returning to its roots
When the religionists criticized Jesus / Yeshua, He told them that new wine won’t fit into an old wine skin. He always encouraged authenticity while discouraging religiosity.

Today, “The Chief Cornerstone” (Jesus) is building up a new generation that will do mighty exploits in His name.  But these things will go forth in a new paradigm, a new wineskin; The old ones just simply can’t handle it.

Fellowship Groups
There is no better way to see God work through His people than by being in fellowship with His people.
We see this exemplified in Acts 2:46 where we read “they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart”. See also Rom. 16:5, 1 Cor 16:19, Col. 4:15, and Philemon 2.

Fellowship Groups are groups of like-minded, like-spirited people (individuals, couples and families) that unite together either locally or online, connecting with each other throughout the week while faithfully supporting, helping and laboring with each other both physically (when possible) and spiritually. They are a place that all can exercise the giftings that God has given each one of us by His Spirit. What better way to raise children in the ways of Yahweh God?

Leadership
We encourage unity, family integrity, personal discipleship, and evangelism With a strong Biblical foundation, Fellowship Group leaders provide Godly servant leadership in a Bible-based, safe, non-threatening environment for healing, family restoration, and growth.

Is God calling you into leadership?  Start here

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Heb 10:24-25

The power of God flows in Fellowship Groups – You are needed
In Fellowship Groups, w
e have witnessed the Spirit of God move in powerful ways as He ministers to His people through prayer, physical and spiritual healings, transformations and a host of other ways. The testimonies and life changing benefits that are experienced while living life as part of a Spirit-filled community are greater than words can describe. We have found no substitute.

Plus, as part of the Together Fellowship family, you have the added benefit of being connected, in a real way, with others who are like-minded.

And by the way, we do meet in “buildings” at various times. We simply purpose to remember that “the church” is people and not buildings or other things.

Sometimes similar concepts are referred to as small groups, cell groups, home church or house church. But no matter what they are called, God’s people have been uniting in this way since the beginning of time.  Click here for some history of “small groups”

Fellowship Groups are a way for God’s people to join together
and function as a people the way He intended.

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
So we, being many, are one body in Messiah, and every one members one of another.
